Suba el PDF de sus tarjetas y le digo si está listo para imprimir: tamaño, sangrado, marcas de corte, color, fuentes e imágenes. Si algo falla, le explico qué es y cómo se arregla.

Add the PDF of your cards and I'll tell you whether it's ready to print: size, bleed, crop marks, colour, fonts and images. If something's wrong, I'll say what it is and how to fix it.

What it checks

Las especificaciones son las que pide Pimentel para tarjetas de visita: PDF a tamaño real de 85 × 55 mm, con 2 mm de sangrado y marcas de corte. Además miro lo que suele dar problemas en imprenta: colores en RGB en vez de CMYK, fuentes sin incrustar, imágenes por debajo de 300 ppp y textos demasiado cerca del corte. Si añade la máscara del barniz 3D, compruebo que coincide con la tarjeta y que es negro sólido.

Es una comprobación automática. Pimentel revisa igualmente cada archivo antes de imprimir.

The specs are the ones Pimentel asks for on business cards: a PDF at the actual size of 85 × 55 mm, with 2 mm bleed and crop marks. I also look at what usually causes trouble at the printer: RGB colours instead of CMYK, fonts that aren't embedded, images under 300 ppi and text too close to the cut. If you add the 3D varnish mask, I check that it lines up with the card and is solid black.

It's an automatic check. Pimentel still reviews every file before printing.

Soy Conor O'Flanagan, de Sekimora. Estoy preparando mis tarjetas con Pimentel y he hecho esta prueba con las especificaciones que me pasaron. Se puede adaptar a otros productos, como folletos, carpetas o calendarios, y ponerla en la web de la imprenta con un botón para enviar el archivo cuando todo esté en verde.

I'm Conor O'Flanagan, from Sekimora. I'm getting my business cards printed with Pimentel and built this trial from the specs they sent me. It could be adapted to other products, such as flyers, folders or calendars, and go on the print shop's own site with a button to send the file once everything is green.
